Hatha Yoga is the part of Yoga, which is probably best known in the Western world. It consists of body-oriented exercises (body positions/Asanas), breathing exercises (Pranayamas), as well as exercises for deep relaxation.

What is the effect of Yoga when practised regularly?

On the level of the body:

Improves breathing quality,
Stimulates metabolism,
Regulates digestion,
Strengthens nervous system,
Strengthens immune system,
Purifies and detoxifies the organism,

Motivating is a key part of the teaching process. Patience and flexibility are the essential qualities that make a good teacher."

Sebastian Smolyn (born 1975, Poland). Since 1998 he has been practicing Hatha- Yoga according to the method of B.K.S. Iyengar (Iyengar Yoga) and Vinyasa Yoga (Ashtanga Yoga und Shadow Yoga). His most significant yoga teachers were: Shandor Remete (Natanaga Zhander), Claus Grzesch, Ali Dashti, Faeq Biria, Wilfrid Schichl, Sharon Gannon and David Life. Sebastian has been teaching yoga since 2003 amongst others in Musikhochschule Zürich, Musikpark Mannheim (Pop Akademie).
Besides yoga music has always been his great passion. He stadied classical music in Luebeck, Weimar, Basel, Zuerich, Winterthur and Marseille. After several years of playing in numerous orchestras in Germany, France and Switzerland, he focused on his own improvised/experimental music.
